Welcome to the Canine Art Guild

The Canine Art Guild was established in March of 2006. Consisting of fine canine artists from around the world, it is quickly becoming the place to find quality canine art on the web.

The CAG is a unique association - made up of artists of all levels, seeking to legitimize art depicting canines, and to build a community for each other and the public. Look to the link in the menu to the left for the listing of our roster of Artists. You can refine your search for that special painting or sculpture you have in mind by looking artists up by their breed group specialty, discipline specialty, medium specialty, or geographic location. Looking to hire an artist to create that special dog portrait? We also have a convenient listing of our artists who will happily create your portrait for you.

We are constantly adding fabulous new artists to our ever growing website. Check our What's New page often for quick reference.

What's New and Upcoming Events

Current Exhibit: Helping Paws IV: All Creatures Great and Small

Please join us for the 4th Annual Canine Art Guild Helping Paws Online Exhibition, a unique event in which CAG member artists have partnered with their local animal shelters & rescue groups to raise awareness and funds for animal welfare. Furthermore, each of the artists in this show have pledged a percentage of their artwork's sale to a particular non-profit animal related group.

For the first time in our history, the CAG opened the Helping Paws exhibition up to include other animals that benefit from rescue and shelter efforts. Our world is sadly full of homeless animals and it is our hope that we are able to raise awareness and funds to help a handful of them. It might only be a handful, but it's a start!
