The inspiration for this painting of my bi-blue Sheltie, Shenan, came from a photograph I took of him on a snowy winter's day in Ontario. He was on the back deck looking in through the glass patio door. I immediately grabbed the camera and snapped away. The original photo shows snowflakes in his coat and I plan to paint him like that in a colour medium eventually. His incredible beauty and engaging personality continue to inspire me.
