Betty Clayton and her dedicated staff have been helping the Gary
area's forgotten, neglected, and unwanted pets for a good number of years. As I looked through their list of animals available for adoption, Skip's uneasy, hesitant expression caught my eye. The description accompanying his picture reads simply: "Skip is about 6 years old, housebroken, good with kids and other animals.....his previous owner just didn't have the time for him."
