Lambda was a gorgeous black Lab. She was born when I was 14 and followed me for the rest of her 16 &1/2 years.

We shared my life, she was there through my teenage years, would come to our student parties, dined in the best restaurants, followed me to live in Germany and Sweden, followed each and every horse I ever rode, saw me mature into a woman and was present at my first wedding.

I couldn't imagine going any where without here. She lived a long free life with no lead, kennel or rope. We were a team. We dealt with life together and with energy and trust. I would stare into her eyes and was always astounded by the comfort and peace I could see in them The day she died, my shadow got so much smaller. The fateful day came 6 years ago, I could not say goodbye to her the way I should have. This drawing is of her for her. My beautiful, wise and loving wee Lamb.
